| Q. Does SCTS give me customers? |
| A. No! |
| While SCTS does not provide customers, it will provide you advertisement and marketing assistance on both a local and national level. It will also provide you with leads resulting from our advertising. What SCTS also does is support the customer base you have or create. The company does provide a stipend for its Franchise Owners to support their local advertising and free brochures, banners, and signs as well as other promotional support. The support for SCTS Franchises includes all items listed in the offering circular. |
| Q. What does SCTS do to "support my customer base"? |
| A. SCTS will run ads in national and local media; provide you with links to your Webpages; We will also provide you with a number of services like the Chase Refund Anticipation Loans (RALs). This will provide checks based on anticipated refunds within 48 to 72 hours for the clients of Associates; While Franchise holders can issue RAL checks as soon as they receive approval to print them! We will also provide income Tax Audit Support for your clients, just in case they need to address issues in their return with the IRS. We also can assist you by offering a number of financial services that are more than e-filing. |

| Q. What are the rates for services? |
| A. While you may charge your clients whatever you wish, we suggest you keep in mind our rate per filing* when you set your rates for Associates doing electronic filing we suggest the following only as a guideline: |

| * We suggest that you keep in mind your fee per return as outlined in our Handbook, Operations Manual, and Offering Circular. For business returns or complex returns Associates are required to send them to the home office. We will provide you with a finder’s fee and inform you if there are any problems. |
| Q. What does it mean when SCTS says: "We Write the Checks"? |
| A. SCTS, working through CHASE Bank, writes the RAL check directly from its office. This allows us to ship them directly to our Associates, and Franchise owners can do the same and get customers approved and “Write the Checks” sometimes in less than 24 hours. |
| Q. What fees do I have to pay to become a SCTS Franchise Owner? |

| A. You will pay all fees from your SCTS bank account. Since you are required to make deposit, SCTS will deduct all fees due from that account. We also suggest that you establish a PayPal account through us. |

| Q. What do I need to get my clients a RAL? |
| A. Your customer/client will need proper Identification and an RAL application. You will be sent an RAL application over the SCTS network, by e-mail which you can print out and/or make copies and send them by Fax to SCTS. We prefer that you use our network; however our fax number is (205) 925-7777. |
| Q. What and how does SCTS Pay ME? |
| A. SCTS Pays you from your local SCTS bank account the difference between your deposits and the amounts owned for fees and payments. We deduct SCTS funds and forward the remaining amounts due to you weekly. You can be paid for: Each return successfully filed by you. Each return referred by you to the SCTS home office. Each return filed by someone you referred to SCTS as a Franchisee or Associate. |

| Q. Must I have a PayPal account to work with SCTS? |
| A. No |
| However we suggest this because it can assure consistency of payment and records for transactions online. PayPal has transactions that can be documented through a "neutral" party. It also assures you of rapid payment and maximum safety (since money is transferred electronically directly into your account) with matching records. |
| Q. What forms do I need to operate? |
| A. If you are an Associate - None. We will provide all necessary forms online. |
| If you are a Franchise owner - You need to have CHASE RAL applications. We will send you RAL applications once you are approved. After that it will up to you to arrange with SCTS for more forms however, we have a resource on this site that might prove to be useful . |

| A. The Franchise fee for a Gold SCTS Franchise is $20,000 The Franchise fee for a Silver SCTS Franchise is $15,000 This fee is due in full at the time of initiation of the franchise. |
| Q. Are there any other fees associated with operating a SCTS Franchise? |
| A. Yes! There is a fee per return that is paid to SCTS by the franchisee. This fee varies based on type of franchise and the number of returns filed. There is also a charge of 1% of gross sales that goes toward advertising and marketing. All these are spelled out in detail in the company Operating Manual. |
| Q. If I don't feel that I can afford to purchase a franchise are there other ways available for me to work doing taxes? |
| A. Yes, there are other ways to work doing taxes with SCTS! However, you may be able to qualify for franchise funding, so don't be too quick to give up. Yet, if you still aren't ready to take on a franchise operation, you can still work with us as an SCTS Associate! |
| Q. What is a SCTS Associate and how do I become one? |
| A. An SCTS Associate is an independent business person with an agreement to work on the SCTS network exclusively for doing taxes. Associates are not Franchise Owners so they have limitations that franchisees don't have. For instance; Associates don't use their own tax software, don't get free advertising or signs, and can't do business or corporate filings directly (They must send them to the SCTS home office to be done, but they do get a finder's fee for each one.). The SCTS Associate is able to provide all the services of a larger national franchise like Refund Anticipation Loans (RALs). Being a SCTS Associates cost a $600 fee that is good for one tax season. |
